Focusing on the “self-paced” education modules featured on Settlements Institute, different animal archetypes were explored to connect an animal’s attributes to the users education journey. In the end, four animals were ultimately chosen for the final logo — a Cheetah for its speed, an Elephant for its memory, a rabbit for its deftness, and a turtle for its resilience.
